CHIVE MIX - FOR CHEESEMAKING
This mix of predominately chives, with celery, onions and garlic is perfect for spicing up your cheeses. Great in soft cheeses, goats' cheese, Gouda, Feta and many others.
Take the quantity you need and place in a container of boiled water for 10 minutes before use to sterilise. You'll need to soak the herbs before use too - for example with Gouda, soak the herbs for up to two hours before adding to the milk. Recommended amount - 70g per 100 litres of milk.
Please store in a cool dry place and keep in a sealed container. Sold in a 1kg bag.
